Welcome To Smithers, British Columbia

A Preview of the road ahead

Wednesday, March 21

We will embark on our long voyage traversing Western Canada.  Leaving Val-Morin at 03:00 and picking up our fellow Katimavikers from Mirabel,  we will continue our drive on to Ottawa.  Our Ottawa flight departs at 09:00 and we will have a 6 hour flight to the Vancouver Airport.  Then we will travel up North via a small Air Canada passenger jet, which will bring us to the picturesque community of Smithers, B.C., in the northern interior of this beautiful province.  We are all too excited...and the count-down has begun...
